Principle of operation of limited reflection sensors
Accepts reflected light from the detected object to detect the presence or absence of the object, and has an optical system that limits the projected beam and the light-receiving area to detect only the detected object that is a certain distance away from the sensor (within the range where the projected beam and the light-receiving area coincide).
